Mix Artistry

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the best online education experience possible — sharing knowledge with the world, taking the mystery out of mixing, and empowering musicians, producers, and engineers to create professional-quality tracks without the guesswork, gatekeeping, or years of trial and error.

Our Vision

To wipe out audio nerd hunger by 2035 and eradicate mediocre mixes for good, with a good dose of fun & humour, as part of a supportive environment, creating life-long connections with like-minded people.

Why We Started

Like a lot of mixers, we started out frustrated — too many tutorials, not enough real-world results. We saw how overwhelming audio education could be and wanted to change that. So we built a space where you can learn the fundamentals, apply them in any DAW, and actually hear your progress — without the fluff, the hype, or the confusion or crippling college debt.

What We Believe

  • Mixing should be fun — not frustrating.
  • Great sound is for everyone — not just big studios.
  • Community matters — because feedback and collaboration make us all better.
  • Creativity and imagination drive innovation — not expensive gear.

A Note from the Founder

Hey everyone — I’m Daniel.

Audio engineering is more than just technique; it’s a craft that connects people through sound. It’s about imagination, curiosity, and the joy of shaping something that moves others.

If you’re just starting out, or you’ve been in the game for a while, I want to encourage you to keep experimenting, keep learning, and never lose sight of the power of sound to bring people together.

Thanks for being here — and welcome to Mix Artistry.
– Daniel Jason Booth
Founder, Mix Artistry

Daniel has worked in the industry with musical artists globally since 2010 as a producer and mixing engineer. He’s learnt directly from top producers and engineers, such as Jack Joseph Puig, David Nicholas and Andy Baldwin. Daniel doesn’t like Pina Coladas or getting caught in the rain, but is quite partial to red T-shirts, audio mixing and helping others make great mixes. Daniel also apparently likes talking about himself in third-person.
